May 18-20, 2018, Cypress Spring Lake (Scoggins, TX)
An adventure with your family!!! We will be camping at Sandy Pastures, a working farm on Lake Cypress Springs less than 2 hours away.
We encourage the whole family to come as we have activities for everyone including:
Water skiing and tubing
Pontoon boat rides
Swim area with large float toys
Fishing
Beach volleyball
Interact with the farm animals: chickens, goats, pigs, ducks, cows, donkey and a horse
Collect fresh eggs for breakfast
Goat yoga
This is a perfect time to spend some time with your scout and enjoy a twist on some traditional camp activities. Have lunch with a meal that your son’s patrol cooks. Enjoy a communal dinner with assorted smoked meats. Be entertained at our campfire that will also include karaoke.
Scouts need to bring a pair of old sneakers or boots (goulashes if you have them) as our service project will be some real farm work. Please bring your own fishing gear if you have it.
