James Gewax and Yannik Balster Complete Their Eagle Projects

Just this year, scouts Yannik Balster and James Gewax both completed their eagle projects and became eagle scouts. Yannik’s eagle project involved building a large storage unit for the Richardson High School’s marching band. The project is now used as an easy way to store percussion equipment before and after band rehearsals and performances. James’s eagle project was doing various projects around a community garden in DFW. James led many other scouts in order to plant various greenery, fill in soil, and construct a large wooden gate at the entrance of the garden. Both of these young men have made huge impacts for the organizations that they built their projects for, and displayed great leadership and laboring skills while executing their visions.
