In the summer of 2021, 3 different treks from our troop were sent off to three different high adventure treks to test their scout skills and have a great time. At the beginning of the summer, Ryan Dodgen led several other boys through the New Mexican mountains at Philmont Scout Ranch. Around the same time, some of the older scouts worked together to sail the Florida Keys for a week at Florida Sea Base. Lastly, another group of experienced scouts set out for an amazing journey through the Minnesota wilderness at Northern Tier High Adventure Base. No matter which base the scouts went to, they all had a great time!
