January 17-19 (Burnet, TX) – On a rainy Friday evening, we traveled to central Texas for cave exploration at Longhorn Caverns and camping at Inks Lake State Park. We had two groups each take a different tour. One group took the guided walking exploration of the caves where we saw such things as the Crystal City, the Moon Room, the Hall of Marble and the Hall of Diamonds!
Meanwhile our more adventuresome group took the Wild Cave Tour where they experienced Longhorn Caverns as it existed before modern lights and pathways. The tour took Scouts on a wriggling, crawling adventure through the undeveloped lower level of the cave. Click here to see pictures from this event.
