We pulled into the trailer park grounds, set up dining flies & tents, and quickly went to bed in preparation for tomorrow’s day of family fun. We woke up and promptly started on Breakfast leaving just a little before 10. When we got there the tubes were handed out and the scouts and the families splashed in the water. We had a picnic style lunch and then headed for the highlight of the day, the tube shoot. For hours scouts and families barreled out of the end of the concrete tunnel until it was time to depart and we headed downstream. As we got back to camp we had a gourmet dinner and a large campfire. Overall this was a fun and well attended campout but also it will be remembered as one of the troop’s most successful family campouts.
